Prince’s Trust: Tomorrow’s Store
What started as a brief to design a poster for the charity’s new ‘souvenir shop’ proved to be an enormous opportunity. We cheekily asked whether we could concept the entire shop , to which the charity said ‘yes’. We then created a bespoke space with interior architects, to enable fresh entrepreneurial young talent - helped by the Prince’s Trust’s enterprise scheme - to become the hosting residents every month. From Tomorrow’s Textile Maker, Tomorrow’s Upholsterer to Tomorrow’s Fashionistas, with the interchangeable interior they were able to take ownership not only of the branding of the shop, but also the physical layout. The Tomorrow’s Store was only supposed to last 1 year, but it lived for many years after. The concept has now become the charity’s network of retail businesses who have completed The Prince’s Trust Enterprise programme.
TalkTalk: Mix Off
TalkTalk's sponsorship of the X Factor was a much a part of the show as Simon Cowell's nipple-tickling trouser line. It just wasn’t the same without it. So when we were challenged to produce the campaign, our minds imploded with excitement. We ended up creating Mix Off, an app which allowed friends, families and even complete strangers to make glossy music videos together, that could appear on TV. It was such a success, it even received praise from Mr Cowell himself. And that's no easy feat.
The final figures for participation: 47,715 app downloads, 99,584 total submitted videos and 107 unique idents aired during The XFactor ad breaks.
